HANDOUT – Milan/Schaffhausen, 29 June, 2016: The Portugieser Chronograph Rattrapante Edition “Boutique Milano” features the characteristic third button for the rattrapante mechanism and a red gold case, a blue dial with tachymetric scale and telemetric scale and a black alligator leather strap. The inscription of the limited edition “01/100” on the case back of the watch, together with the incision that evokes the “Biscione”, the grass snake, of the Milanese Visconti family, the symbol and emblem of the city, further seals the connection with Milan. IWC Schaffhausen is launching three special limited-edition Portugieser Chronograph Rattrapante watches  which are dedicated to the cities of Milan, Paris and Munich. By doing so, the Swiss watchmaking company is continuing a success story that began in 1995 with the first Portugieser Chronograph Rattrapante.  The timepieces are distinguished by a third push-button for starting and stopping the split-seconds hand. Beyond the capabilities of a pure chronograph, this also enables a second short period of time to be measured with down-to-the-second accuracy.
