Jaeger-LeCoultre welcomes Jorge Viladoms at the SIAR

The Salon Internacional Alta Relojeria (SIAR) in Mexico City is the most important fine watchmaking salon in Latin America, and for the celebration of its tenth edition,
Jaeger-LeCoultre had the great pleasure of welcoming its friend, Jorge Viladoms.

After visiting the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre, the professional pianist was the guest of honor at the SIAR and received his personalized Reverso watch. Jorge Viladoms chose a very intimate engraving symbolizing his passion for music and philanthropy: it represents a young violinist and, underneath, the sentence ‘Là où est la musique, il n’y a pas de place pour le mal‘ (Where there is music, there can be no harm.)

This engraving shows his commitment for the charity foundation he created in 2012.  “Crescendo con la Musica” provides access to music to children living in poverty in Mexico by offering them the opportunity to possess an instrument and acquire quality musical training. Jorge strongly believes that studying classical music and learning to play an instrument help to develop enthusiasm, passion, imagination, freedom of speech, as well as an ability to concentrate a sense of organisation, perseverance and develop an analytical mindset.

Welcoming Jorge Viladoms at SIAR was a pleasure and the opportunity to share once again our common values.

«Jaeger-LeCoultre and I share the same values: we are both driven by a strength that helps us create emotion through art, and express infinite concepts such as music and time with our instruments. Jaeger-LeCoultre is not just a brand, it is a family, and I am proud to be a member of that family.»
